    Description

    After many requests I have been able to source extra fine diamond wire saw blades. These blades are only 0.15mm in diameter, compared to the 0.35mm blades I have been selling. This reduced thickness makes these blades ideal for very fragile material such as opal, or fine metal foils and tube. Please note, due to the smaller size of the wire, these blades are not at all suitable for motorized scroll saws. These blades are best suited for cutting very delicate material such as opal and very thin metal foil and tubes (wall thickness well under 1mm) The OEM specs maximum recommended tension at 6 lbs, this is both the clamping force that holds the blade AND any force applied to the workpiece. This listing is for a 6 pack of 5" blades for CRL type hand held wire saws or any clamp style wet scroll saws. These blades are constructed of high strength steel cores with nickel overplated diamond grit. Please see my other listings if you are interested in the larger diameter blades.
